How It All Began
The heartache of losing a beloved pet is profound. When three cherished companions—Felony, Toffee, and Teddy—left our family within two months, the grief was unimaginable. Felony, a sleek black Staffy and family legacy; Toffee, the gentle wanderer who chose us; and Teddy, the joyful Shih Tzu who brightened our days. Each brought a unique kind of love, and each loss left an irreplaceable mark.
Under the branches of an ancient oak tree, we laid them to rest. It was there, in that quiet place, that inspiration struck. I crafted wind spinners bearing their names and photos, hanging them as a tribute to their enduring spirits. What began as a deeply personal act of remembrance became something more—a way to celebrate life, honor memories, and create lasting keepsakes for others.

As a grandmother and retired insurance adjuster, I never imagined my next chapter would involve launching a small business. But with a lifelong love for crafting and a passion for connecting people through personalized gifts, Crafted Keepsakes of Texas was born.
