Heart of Athens

The Heart of Athens 2026 ornament is the inaugural release in the Athens Heritage Collection™, an annual series created to honor the landmarks, history, traditions, and character of Athens, Texas.  

The first design features the historic Henderson County Courthouse. Construction was authorized in June 1913 and the finished courthouse was accepted in January 1914. It is recognized for its Classical Revival architecture, distinctive angled wings, and prominent place at the center of the Athens community.  

Framed by graceful oak branches and finished in a timeless palette of deep navy, warm ivory, brick, and antique gold, the ornament was designed to feel like a treasured collectible rather than an ordinary souvenir. 

Each year, a new Athens story will be added to the collection.  

Each edition may be personalized for a family, individual, business, organization, memorial, milestone, or special occasion.

We will work with you to determine the best font style and size depending on your personalization needs.

The optional personalization includes NFC technology, if desired.

Optional NFC technology connects the physical ornament to a digital experience.

Depending on the selected option, the NFC link may lead to:

• A website or social-media page 
• Other meaningful digital content 

Customers can simply tap a compatible smartphone near the NFC area to open the programmed link. A card explaining how to open the link is included when this option is selected. 

The NFC option is available at no additional charge if the personalization upgrade is selected.
